Since 2012, the Beauval Zoo/Safari Park has further enhanced the region's appeal with over 35,000 animals, 800 species, and its famous giant pandas. Ranked among the most beautiful zoos in the world , it is an essential stop during a stay in the Loire Valley .
Chenonceau castle
Located 5km from Le Moulin du Port, this is the most feminine of all castles! You can even explore it by following the little path that runs alongside our guesthouse, along the Cher River, on foot or by bike, or perhaps even by canoe, passing under its majestic arches. Its flower gardens are splendid. Consider a guided tour to fully appreciate the history of this "Ladies' Castle." A truly enchanting experience awaits, especially during the magical Christmas season in the Land of Castles!
Beauval Zoo/Safari Park
One of the 3 most beautiful zoos in the world! You'll discover the famous panda twins, Yuandudu and Huanlili, as well as their friends, from the smallest to the largest. A vast and stunning park, renowned for its natural surroundings, animals so happy they reproduce in large numbers, and a great diversity of species. Sneakers are a must!
Cycling along the river
Numerous cycling routes are accessible right from the doorstep, including scenic rides along the Cher River, away from traffic. We'll put you in touch with our excellent bike rental company, who will deliver the bikes to the house. They have all the necessary accessories for family cycling, including electric bikes and trailers for children. At the house, you'll find a pump, a bike rack or secure storage, and a washing machine if needed for cyclists stopping over.
Gain height
A hot air balloon ride is a unique experience. Floating above the Château de Chenonceau, skimming over the vineyards, admiring the frolicking deer at sunrise or sunset, is a delight at every moment. Whether as a gift or for yourself, it's an unforgettable present.
